My name is Ritesh Joshi, and I come from the Uttarakhand. For me fitness of my body is everything But one ordinary day, while lifting heavy weights, everything changed in a split second. A sharp pain shot through my left leg, and I suffered a severe disc bulge.

It’s been 9 months since my spine surgery, but I still remember every moment of that day as if it happened yesterday.

The fear started the moment I stepped out of my house. My mind was filled with countless questions, anxiety, and uncertainty about what lay ahead. And when I was taken into the OT, the fear was beyond words. I didn’t know what would happen next or how life would be after surgery. All I could do was pray to God and trust my doctor. 🙏🥹

Undergoing spine surgery was not just a physical challenge; it was an emotional battle that tested my strength, patience, and courage. Looking back, I realise how difficult that moment was for me and how much courage it took to face it.

My heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Neeraj Gupta, who performed my surgery 9 months ago. Thank you, Doctor, for being an important part of my journey and for helping me through one of the most frightening phases of my life. I will always be grateful for the trust and hope I placed in you on that day. ❤️
